The SP-500 Panic Device Power Controller has been designed to handle the high amperage in-rush of (1) 24VDC electric solenoid exit device. For use with (1) one high amperage in-rush solenoid exit device on an access control or timer system. The SP-500 may also be used to power a motorized exit device, electric strike, electric mortise lock, electric cylindrical locks, electronic multipoint locks, etc. Note: total combined current for the 24VDC outputs may not exceed 0.5 amp continuous duty. The SP-500 has a built-in voltage regulator to compensate for voltage drop. Battery back-up capable (requires separate enclosure for housing batteries).
